Withdrawal policy (Widerrufsbelehrung)

Important note for the Linknetz Pro subscription:
Consumers are generally entitled to a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht). Since the Pro subscription is an ongoing subscription (continuing obligation, Dauerschuldverhältnis), your right of withdrawal does not expire early through use — however, if you withdraw during use, you must pay us compensation for the value (Wertersatz) of the service already provided. Below, we inform you about the conditions, deadlines and the procedure for exercising your right of withdrawal, as well as about this obligation to pay compensation for value.

Withdraw from contract

Without a Linknetz account (e.g. after deleting your account), you withdraw by e-mail to office@mwolf94.de or by letter to the address given below.

1. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online: after logging in to your Linknetz account, via the “Withdraw from contract” button (at the bottom of every page of the account and under Settings → Plan).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

3. Early start of performance & compensation for value upon withdrawal (Section 356(5), Section 357a(2) BGB)

The Linknetz Pro subscription is an ongoing subscription (continuing obligation, Dauerschuldverhältnis) and not a one-time supply of digital content. For services, the right of withdrawal only expires under Section 356(5) BGB once the service has been fully performed. With a running subscription, this is not the case within the 14-day period — your right of withdrawal therefore remains even if you agree to immediate use.

We only begin performing the contract (i.e. unlocking the Pro features) before the withdrawal period has expired if you have expressly requested this on the order page.

If you withdraw from the contract even though you agreed to this early start, you must pay us, under Section 357a(2) BGB, a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the service already provided up to the time of your withdrawal in comparison with the full scope of the services provided for in the contract (calculated pro rata by days of the current billing period). The amount already paid but not yet used will be refunded to you.

4. The two confirmations on the order page

To give you immediate and uninterrupted access to all Pro features (e.g. unlimited links, click statistics, removal of the branding) right after payment, we ask for two confirmations on the order page, before the “Order now with obligation to pay” button:

Checkbox 1: Express consent to the immediate start of performance

“I expressly request that Linknetz begin providing the Pro subscription before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired.”

Checkbox 2: Confirmation of awareness of the obligation to pay compensation for value

“I understand that I keep my right of withdrawal, but if I withdraw during use, I pay pro rata for the time used up to that point.”

Neither checkbox is preselected by default (opt-in). The timestamp of your consent and the declarations you made for both checkboxes are stored in an audit-proof manner in the audit log for your customer account when you submit the order.

6. Cancellation of subscriptions

Independently of the statutory right of withdrawal, you can cancel a paid Pro subscription at any time — via the “Cancel your contract here” button in your account settings and the subsequent confirmation (Settings → Plan, pursuant to Section 312k BGB) or alternatively via the integrated Stripe customer portal.

You can also cancel via the “Cancel contracts here” page (linknetz.de/en/kuendigen), which is linked in the footer of every page. There, you log in and confirm the cancellation; we implement an ordinary termination (ordentliche Kündigung) immediately if the subscription is running and paid, unless a later date is requested; otherwise we review it manually. You will usually receive the confirmation immediately by e-mail to your account's address. As proof, you can save or print the confirmation page that appears after submission. If you cannot log in, cancel in text form (Textform), e.g. by e-mail to support@linknetz.de; this cancellation is just as effective, we will record it and confirm it to you in text form.

For the monthly subscription and within the initial term of the yearly subscription, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then, all Pro features remain usable. After the initial term of the yearly subscription has ended, the cancellation takes effect immediately: the subscription ends as soon as the cancellation is received (Section 309 no. 9(b) BGB). We will refund the already paid, unused portion to you, calculated to the day, within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation.
