Is Linknetz GDPR-compliant?
Linknetz is built for it: developed and hosted in Germany, no ad tracking, no external fonts or CDNs. We don't store IP addresses for clicks and profile views; to protect against abuse we briefly count requests per pseudonymised hash of the IP address (for about two days at most), separately from the statistics. In the server log files the IP address is shortened before it's stored. For what you publish on your own page, you remain responsible under data protection law yourself. Do I really need a legal notice on my link-in-bio page?
Under German law, yes for profiles used for business — the obligation to provide a legal notice (Impressum) applies regardless of the platform you use. You link to your own legal notice page — free of charge — or, with Pro, write it directly in Linknetz; either way it appears below your profile. Linknetz is no substitute for individual legal advice, though. In depth: legal notice obligations for creators (in German) in our guides.
Where does the speed figure come from?
From our own measurement with a real browser (median of ten runs), last taken on 16 September 2026. There's currently no automatic, ongoing measurement — we update the figure by hand the next time we measure.
Does Linknetz set cookies?
Not on your public profile page — no cookies are set there, not even for counting clicks. Only if a visitor starts an embedded video or song themselves can that platform set its own cookies in its player. On our own pages (home, pricing, login, account), Linknetz sets two strictly necessary cookies: one for the session (without logging in only until you close your browser, after logging in for up to 7 days) and one that protects against forged requests (CSRF). If you choose a language yourself at the top (DE/EN), a third cookie remembers that choice for a year. No tracking or ad cookies; our audience measurement runs without a cookie and without a script in your browser.
I didn't get a confirmation email — what now?
Check your spam folder first. Via “Request confirmation email” we'll send you a new link; if that doesn't arrive either, setting a new password via “Forgot password” also confirms your address. More in the help.
How much does Linknetz cost?
Free costs nothing — no trial period, no payment details — with up to 10 links, all design templates and stats for the last 7 days. Linknetz Pro costs €2.99 a month or €24 a year, incl. VAT — for unlimited links, your own design, images, embedded videos and music, and click stats for up to 12 months.
